DESIGN MANAGER (C&S) – LTA

Our client is one of the leading Civil & Building contractors in Singapore. They have a number of current large scale groundbreaking projects with tenders in place for some of Singapore’s most prestigious upcoming projects.

Main Accountabilities

• You will be a key member of the design team for their current large-scale projects.
• Provide critical direction to the design development and coordination on overall C&S architectural design works.
• Manage drawing submission schedules based on planned work progress.
• Coordinate and review design matters with LTA, authorities, consultants, subcontractors, etc.
• Manage subcontractors and review shop drawings to meet design requirements.
• Plan and manage C&S work progress scheduling, etc.
• Technical advice and solutions in the design of temporary & permanent works, construction & sequencing issues.
• Daily and weekly internal meetings.
• Leading and driving project design as it affects safety and quality.

• Degree in Civil Engineering/Structural Engineering recognized by PE Board or qualification acceptable to the Commissioner of Building Control.
• MINIMUM of 10-15 years of LTA project experience. Project involves Viaduct Construction.
• Experience in the design of civil and structures for projects of similar scale and complexity.
• Practical understanding, with some on site experience.
• Substantial Experience in Design & Design Management, Construction Management & Team building / leading.
• Excellent project skills, good communication & interpersonal skills.
• Analytical and equipped with good knowledge of temporary design and instrumentation.
• Highly self-motivated, good working attitude with a high level of professionalism and integrity.
