Job summary

A leading construction company in Singapore is looking for a Planning Engineer to develop and maintain project schedules. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in high-rise projects and a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering. Proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Project is essential. Job description

  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6/MS Project, ensuring alignment with project objectives
  • Monitor progress, identify potential delays, and propose corrective actions to keep the project on track
  • Prepare progress reports, dashboards, and presentations for stakeholders
  • Coordinate with project teams to assess risks, resource allocation, and critical path activities
  • Conduct site visits to verify progress and update schedules accordingly
  • Ensure compliance with contractual timelines and project milestones
  • Assist in claims management and delay analysis, if required
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, and contractors to resolve scheduling conflicts
  • Any other adhoc duties as assigned by management

Job requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience as a Planning Engineer, preferably in high-rise residential/commercial projects and have completed at least one project for entire project life cycle
  • Proficiency in Primavera P6 (Earn Value Analysis), MS Project (with resource and cost loading), and other planning tools
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Knowledge of construction methodologies, contracts, and risk management
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
