Job summary
A prestigious club in Singapore is seeking an experienced accounting professional with a minimum of 3 years' experience in maintaining full sets of accounts. The role includes preparing and analyzing monthly management accounts, handling GST returns, and supporting budgeting and cash flow planning. Strong knowledge of local tax legislations and proficiency in accounting systems, particularly Microsoft Office, is essential. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented and can work independently under tight deadlines.
Qualifications
- Minimum 03 years’ experience in maintaining full sets of accounts.
- Strong knowledge of local tax legislations and accounting principles.
- Detailed-oriented and able to work independently under tight timelines.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, analyze and distribute monthly management accounts and related reports.
- Prepare monthly Balance Sheet Schedules and Bank Reconciliations.
- Daily sorting and checking of sales chits for accuracy.
- Maintain an up-to-date fixed assets register.
- Prepare the quarterly GST returns for IRAS submission.
- Support cash flow planning and budgeting.
- Participate in the month-end stock take.

- Proficient in accounting systems, spreadsheets and Microsoft Office
- Detailed-oriented and able to work independently under tight timelines
- Prepare, analyze and distribute monthly management accounts and related reports
- Prepare monthly Balance Sheet Schedules and Bank Reconciliations
- Daily sorting and checking of sales chits to verify the accuracy and completeness of revenues charged
- Maintain an up-to-date fixed assets register to ensure that all additions, disposals, reclassification and movement of fixed assets are properly accounted for
- Prepare the quarterly GST returns for submission to IRAS
- Support cash flow planning and budgeting as well as preparation of the annual Statutory Accounts
- Participate in the month-end stock take at designated outlets
