A global technology company is seeking a Senior Manager of Software Tools in Singapore. You will lead the strategy and governance for the SDLC toolchain and developer platform while managing a global team. The role encompasses product ownership, stakeholder alignment, and team development, with a focus on improving engineering productivity and compliance. Ideal candidates should have significant leadership experience and familiarity with modern tooling, complemented by a strong understanding of software delivery pipelines. The company offers competitive salary, bonuses, and a range of additional benefits.
Dyson is a global technology company focused on solving the problems others ignore through innovative, high‑performing products. We thrive on improvement, grow rapidly, and operate across more categories, locations, and disciplines every year.
Our scale creates endless opportunities. We value new ideas and diverse perspectives, giving people real responsibility from day one. You’ll grow quickly, explore different business areas, and join a global community that supports and learns from each other.
As the Senior Manager of Software Tools, you will own the strategy, governance, delivery, and evolution of Dyson’s enterprise SDLC toolchain and developer platform. You’ll lead a global, multi‑disciplinary team and partner with engineering, security, quality, and IT to build a reliable, secure, and scalable platform that accelerates product delivery.
You’ll be accountable for engineering productivity, quality, compliance, global people leadership, cross‑organisational alignment, and ensuring the platform performs reliably and cost‑effectively. The role includes defining long‑term SDLC and developer platform strategy, managing a multi‑year roadmap, and balancing standardisation with flexibility.
You will build and develop teams across product ownership, platform/DevOps engineering, and tooling operations, establishing clear roles, regional coverage, and a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. You’ll set enterprise standards and workflows, ensure auditability and compliance, and drive alignment across enterprise, embedded, and hardware‑linked engineering teams.
You’ll oversee product ownership and delivery, ensure prioritisation based on business outcomes, manage risks, and safeguard non‑functional requirements such as resilience and security. You’ll own platform reliability, performance, SLAs/SLOs, incident trends, licensing, and vendor relationships while evaluating emerging technologies and preventing tool sprawl.
You will lead change management and organisational adoption, oversee decommissioning of legacy platforms, simplify the SDLC over time, track adoption KPIs, and report progress, risks, and outcome‑based metrics to senior leadership. The role also drives continuous improvement, advancing platform engineering, automation, self‑service, and organisational maturity.
Dyson Singapore monitors the market to ensure competitive salaries and bonuses. Beyond that, you’ll enjoy a transport allowance and comprehensive medical care and insurance. But financial benefits are just the start of a Dyson career. Professional growth, leadership development and new opportunities abound, driven by regular reviews and dynamic workshops. And with a vibrant culture, the latest devices and a relaxed dress code reflecting our engineering spirit, it’s an exciting team environment geared to fuelling and realising ambition.
