Assistant Graphics Designer and Site Manager
Job summary
A leading building materials company in Singapore is seeking a Graphics Designer and Site Manager to manage both local and overseas projects. The role requires strong skills in AutoCAD and project management, with responsibilities including design production, team supervision, and external communication. Candidates should possess a relevant diploma or degree and have excellent problem-solving and communication skills. This position offers the opportunity to enhance the company's prestigious brand in international markets.
Qualifications
- Diploma or university graduate in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or related fields.
- Theoretical knowledge and practical experience in building materials, construction, and interior design.
- Overseas project management experience is a must.
Responsibilities
- Design door and window illustrations with specifications.
- Produce 2D plans, layout, elevations, and sections in AutoCAD/Illustrator.
- Delegate tasks and provide supervision to the project team.
- Ensure construction quality and schedule adherence.
- Enhance the brand image of Singapore ABS in international markets.

Requirements:
- Diploma or university graduate or above, major in Architecture, Civil Engineering or related subject., has theoretical knowledge and practical experience in building material, construction, interior design and decoration.
- Project management, lead all local and overseas projects, including planning, coordination, implementation, execution, control and inspection of all projects. Submit a review analysis report to the board for each project after completion. Overseas experience is a must.
- Communication and management of external related parties, liaise closely with clients, subcontractors, architects, consultants and authorities.
- Create and explain design concepts of designing exterior and interior furnishings.
- Design detailed illustration of door and window two or four sides option and cutting list; Aluminum and glass partition cutting list, casement door and window accessories etc.
- Able to produce 2D plans layout, elevations and sections drawings in AutoCAD / Illustrator .
- Excellent team management, set guidelines and provide expertise and supervision to the team.
- Provide guidance to engineers in relation to construction works, ensure the schedule is on schedule, maintain quality standards, ensure proper site management, and urge to solve technical problems in a timely manner.
- Build up Singapore ABS as prestigious brand technically both in Singapore and overseas market e.g., in Malaysia, Vietnam, Indonesia, Thailand, Burma, Hong Kong, Macau or China etc.
- Take perspective views, Plans, Elevations, and represent the underlying interior design information.
- Highest level of AutoCAD skill is preferred.
- Hardworking and Good attitude in learning.
- Problem solving skills and good communication skills.
- Skilled at Critical thinking, Time Management, Problem solving and Teamwork.
- Site checking, Site Measuring and Supervision on ongoing projects.
- Provides conceptual design, Design development, Visualization, Rendering and Documentation.
