A leading recruitment agency in Singapore seeks a skilled manufacturing engineer. The role involves process planning, CNC programming, and applying Six Sigma methodologies for continuous improvements. Candidates should have a degree in engineering and 3-5 years of relevant experience. Strong problem-solving skills are essential. Formación
- Minimum Degree in Engineering.
- Preferably with 3-5 years of relevant manufacturing engineering.
- Experience in Six Sigma/Lean Manufacturing methodologies.
- Experience in CNC programming.
Responsabilidades
- Perform process planning and fixture & gauge designs.
- Handle quotations and program management.
- Apply Six Sigma/Lean Manufacturing methodologies for continuous improvements.
- Planning and scheduling of ERP system.
- Prepare NC programs for 5-axis milling.
- Probe programming for error proofing.
- Control of machining cycle time.
- Control overall costs for machining.
Conocimientos
Educación
- Perform process planning and fixture & gauge designs
- Handle quotations and program management
- Apply Six Sigma/Lean Manufacturing methodologies for continuous process improvements
- Planning and scheduling of ERP system
- Prepare NC programs, including tooling design and selection, for 5-axis milling on materials ranging from Aluminium, Titanium to Inconel 718
- Probe programming for error proofing, datum setting, dimension check etc.
- Control of machining cycle time within target including all in-machine activities such as probing, machining, appropriate cutter checks etc.
- Control overall costs for machining taking into consideration cycle time and cost of cutters
- Minimum Degree in Engineering
- Preferably with 3-5 years of relevant manufacturing engineering
- Experience in Six Sigma/Lean Manufacturing methodologies
- Experience in CNC programming
