Responsibilities
Perform process planning and fixture & gauge designs
Handle quotations and program management
Apply Six Sigma/Lean Manufacturing methodologies for continuous process improvements
Planning and scheduling of ERP system
Prepare NC programs, including tooling design and selection, for 5-axis milling on materials ranging from Aluminium, Titanium to Inconel 718
Probe programming for error proofing, datum setting, dimension check etc.
Control of machining cycle time within target including all in-machine activities such as probing, machining, appropriate cutter checks etc.
Control overall costs for machining taking into consideration cycle time and cost of cutters
Requirements
Minimum Degree in Engineering
Preferably with 3-5 years of relevant manufacturing engineering
Experience in Six Sigma/Lean Manufacturing methodologies
Experience in CNC programming
