Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Industrial Engineer to lead and drive implementations of Industry 4.0 solutions across Collins Aerospace manufacturing & MRO sites. In this role, you will lead and drive initiatives that improve manufacturing/ repairs efficiency, reduce costs, enhance product quality, while ensuring the successful delivery of complex projects. In addition, you will be a key contributor to our continuous improvement and innovation efforts, helping to shape the future of our industrial operations.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Lead the integration of Industry 4.0 technologies into existing and new systems to improve performance and connectivity.
  • Design and optimize automation projects for efficiency, scalability, and operational improvement.
  • Manage large-scale engineering initiatives to enhance manufacturing and repair processes and productivity.
  • Assess operational sites to identify inefficiencies and recommend process improvements.
  • Collaborate with leadership to align engineering efforts with business and operational goals.
  • Promote and implement standardized processes through clear documentation and best practices.
  • Research and recommend new technologies to boost manufacturing and operational capabilities.
  • Ensures compliance with industry standards and best practices in system design, deployment and maintenance.
  • Mentor junior engineers and support cross functional teams.
Minimum Education
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial/Mechanical Engineering or related field
Minimum Years of Experience
  • At least 8-10 years
Preferred Skills
  • 8–10 years of industrial engineering experience, including leading projects from concept to full implementation.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing and automation systems, especially PLC/SCADA for process control.
  • Hands‑on experience with advanced automation technologies like robotics, AOI and predictive maintenance tools.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Skilled in system optimization, troubleshooting, and using DoE methods for process improvements.
  • Strong problem‑solving, critical thinking, and communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Experience mentoring junior engineers or leading technical teams.
  • Expertise in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma and continuous improvement framework will be a plus.
