Job summary

A safety management firm in Singapore is seeking a Registered Safety Officer to ensure compliance with the WSH Act and oversee safety audits and training. The role requires a minimum of 5 years experience as a Client Representative and the ability to manage multiple contractors effectively. Deployment
  • Mon to Friday: 8 am to 5.30 pm
Scope of Works
  1. Ensure full compliance with WSH Act, relevant regulations, client and contractor in-house requirements; maintain WSH audit procedures according to regulatory and company standards.
  2. Conduct regular site inspections and audits; prepare detailed audit reports; review and update findings; evaluate the effectiveness of corrective and preventive actions.
  3. Review or conduct investigations for incidents and near misses; ensure proper reporting and follow-up actions are implemented.
  4. Review and communicate RA and SWP; ensure contractors’ documents are effective, legally compliant, and site-specific; observe toolbox talks and safety meetings for effectiveness.
  5. Conduct documentation reviews; support the Permit-to-Work (PTW) system, documentation controls, and safety campaigns.
  6. Support delivery of WSH training; liaise with main contractors, subcontractors, and authorities (MOM, SCDF); carry out any additional WSH duties assigned by the client.
