Job summary

A leading spirit distribution company in Singapore is seeking a Warehouse Assistant to support warehouse operations including put-away, picking, packing, and dispatching goods. The ideal candidate has attention to detail, is physically fit, and is committed to safety and teamwork. Basic experience in warehouse operations is preferred, and a forklift license would be advantageous. The position may require working overtime and relocation to Woodlands by Q1 2026.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in warehouse operations is preferred but training will be provided.
• Must be able to operate warehouse equipment; forklift license is an advantage.
• Ability to handle manual handling tasks effectively.

Position Summary

The Warehouse Assistant supports warehouse operations by assisting in put-away, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching goods. The role requires attention to detail, physical fitness, and a strong commitment to safety, accuracy, and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform put-away of received goods into the correct storage locations following FIFO practices.
• Pick and pack goods according to pick lists or sales orders accurately and efficiently.
• Prepare goods for delivery, ensuring proper labeling and packaging.
• Assist in stock counting activities, cycle counts, and full stock takes.
• Report any discrepancies, damages, or expired products to the Warehouse Team Leader or Executive.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, stackers, and forklifts (if certified).
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
• Adhere to all warehouse safety regulations and ensure the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
• Assist in loading and unloading delivery vehicles as required.
• Follow instructions from the Warehouse Team Leader and Warehouse Executive. Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by supervisors or management.

Requirements

• Prior experience in warehouse operations preferred but not essential (training provided).
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment (forklift license is an advantage).
• Basic understanding of warehouse systems and processes.
• Able to handle manual handling tasks.
• Able to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accuracy.
• Willing to work overtime when required.
• Our current office is located in Yishun area. Candidate should be willing to relocate to Woodlands area around Q1 2026.
