Job description
The Role:

We are seeking an experienced Vice President, Credit Risk to join our Corporate Banking risk function. This role plays a critical part in supporting the growth of the corporate loan portfolio while ensuring robust credit risk assessment, governance, and portfolio management across a diverse client base.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead credit risk assessment and approval for corporate banking transactions, including bilateral and syndicated lending, structured facilities, and ancillary products
  • Review and approve credit proposals, financial models, and risk ratings in line with internal policies and regulatory standards
  • Provide independent challenge to relationship managers on deal structure, risk mitigants, and covenant packages
  • Monitor and manage a portfolio of corporate counterparties, identifying emerging risks and recommending proactive risk actions
  • Contribute to portfolio analysis, stress testing, sector reviews, and early warning indicators
  • Support problem credit management, including restructurings and remediation strategies where required
  • Engage with senior stakeholders across Front Office, Legal, Finance, and Compliance
Requirements:
  • Bachelors’ degree in a related field
  • At least 10 years of Credit Risk experience in a Corporate Banking setting
  • Familiar with Corporate Banking products
  • Proven leadership experience
  • Ability to manage and work with regional stakeholders
