Job Purpose:
In this pivotal role, you will lead an Agile team, delivering product roadmaps that support and accelerate the growth of our Wealth business. This is a chance to make a tangible difference, influence strategic direction, and contribute to redefining the banking landscape.
Responsibilities:
Product Leadership & Agile Delivery
- Lead with Impact: Spearhead an Agile team as Product Owner, driving successful delivery of product roadmaps to fuel Wealth business growth and strategic objectives.
- Deep Business Understanding: Acquire an in-depth understanding of business processes to identify new features and capabilities that improve customer journeys.
- Delivery Accountability: Be accountable for product roadmap delivery within an Agile framework.
- Engage Stakeholders: Engage with key stakeholders to refine business requirements, maximizing product value based on feedback.
- Vendor Partnership: Partner with external vendors to facilitate product delivery, implementation, and ongoing maintenance, ensuring service level agreements are met.
- Clear Requirements: Translate requirements into user stories with clear, testable acceptance criteria for delivery.
- Collaborate on Artefacts: Collaborate with squad members to deliver wireframes, user journeys, product backlogs, and other artefacts supporting technical design and development.
- Product Evolution: Drive modification and enhancement of existing products to address emerging business/market, user, or regulatory needs.
- Proactive Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks that may impact the product roadmap.
- End-to-End Support: Support post-implementation tasks including user training, production problem investigation, escalation, and resolution to ensure issues are promptly followed up and resolved.
Stakeholder Management
- Build Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Effective Communication: Communicate product updates, milestones, and changes to ensure alignment and satisfaction.
Collaborative Leadership
- Foster Partnerships: Foster strong partnerships with Product Managers, Technology, Operations, and various Wealth business segments and countries.
- Team Environment: Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment that encourages creativity and efficiency.
Driven and Results-Oriented
- Achieve Objectives: Demonstrate a proactive, results-driven approach to achieving product objectives.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance platform performance and user experience.
Data-Driven Optimization
- Strategic Analysis: Analyse platform usage data, client feedback, and market trends to refine the platform for optimal performance.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum 7 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Consultant, Project Manager, or Product Owner, preferably with Wealth Management platforms.
- Leadership: Experience managing large, cross-functional initiatives/programs.
- Problem Solver: An out-of-the-box thinker and creative problem solver who can manage complexities and ambiguities.
- Communication & Collaboration: Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate complex ideas to diverse audiences.
- Initiative: A self-starter with strong business acumen, independent, and able to rise to challenges and meet deadlines.
- Resilience: Able to work under pressure while maintaining accuracy and commitment.
- Project Management: Good project management skills with attention to detail, ability to multi-task within tight timelines.
