Job summary

A leading security firm in Singapore is seeking a Training Manager to oversee Vendor Personnel training programs. The successful candidate will develop training materials, prepare compliance reports, and manage training courses, ensuring effectiveness and adherence to regulations. Candidates should have a Diploma and 3-5 years of relevant experience in Learning & Development. This is an exciting opportunity to lead training initiatives in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

Job description

This position will oversee the training and instructional leadership of all Vendor Personnel.

Key Responsibilities

Will develop computerized, on-the-job training, in a dedicated portal and with an optimized ability to review training records electronically as well as create proactive training plans based upon Data Centre ongoing information analyses.

Ensure that laws and regulations that might affect the Services are reviewed and changes are implemented as necessary.

Prepare compliance reports and identify areas for improvement associated with contract-specific policies, practices, and procedures.

Coordinate, develop, deliver, and manage Vendor Personnel training and development programs; conduct needs assessments; identify training needs; develop and/or customize training courses, content, and materials; oversee and deliver training; evaluate effectiveness; and make adjustments as necessary to improve training and outcomes.

Develop and implement a method of measuring the effectiveness of the training programs.

Conduct and facilitate training sessions, presenting information clearly and concisely to various audiences.

Provide Data Centre Security Managers annual re-certification training schedule and provide monthly updates of training completion progress.

Skills & Requirements
  • Possess at least a Diploma.
  • WSQ Advanced Certificate in Learning & Performance (ACLP) or WSQ Advanced Certificate in Training & Assessment (ACTA)
  • Familiar with SkillsFuture SG (SSG) and Workforce Singapore (WSG) compliance/auditing, submission of documents' requirements, SSG Skills Frameworks, and WSQ course submissions.
  • Has good time management and interpersonal skills.
  • Meticulous individual with the ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of working experience in a Trainer, Learning & Development role.
