The candidate's duties and responsibilities include both technical and managerial tasks, such as planning and executing projects, managing teams, overseeing budgets and timelines, and ensuring quality and safety compliance. The candidate oversees the daily operations of a manufacturing facility, ensuring production targets are met, quality standards are maintained, and safety protocols are followed. The candidate manages personnel, coordinates production processes, and implements strategies to optimize plant performance and profitability.

The candidate possesses a strong engineering background and knowledge of understanding the technical aspects of the projects oversee, required to be hands‑on for training and coaching. He helps to resolve technical issues and remove roadblocks that may arise during project execution, and also drives process improvements and to identify opportunities for innovation and efficiency gains.

Duties & Responsibilities
  1. Strategies plan a smooth and efficient production workflow, meeting production targets, and managing resources effectively.
  2. Develop project plans, set timelines, and allocate resources. To oversee projects from conception to completion, ensuring they stay on track and within budget.
  3. Determine the most effective way to meet engineering goals, including resource allocation and budget management.
  4. Maintaining ISO13485 and ISO9001 high‑quality standards for products and processes, implementing quality control measures, and addressing quality issues.
  5. Engineering lead and motivate teams of engineers, technicians providing guidance and support for production.
  6. Set performance expectations, provide regular feedback, and conduct performance reviews.
  7. Enforce safety regulations, maintain a safe working environment, and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
  8. Hire, train, and coach team members, manage plant staff to grow their skills, including supervisors and production workers to have the resources they need to succeed.
  9. Develop and manage budgets, control costs, and track budgets to identify areas for cost reduction, projects, and initiatives.
  10. Oversee the maintenance and repair of plant equipment and machinery, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
  11. Develop and implement strategies to improve plant performance, make decisions to increase productivity, and reduce costs.
  12. Prepare weekly and monthly reports on plant performance, analyze data, and identify areas for improvement.
  13. Oversee inventory levels, storage, and incoming/outgoing shipments.
  14. Communicate effectively with various departments, stakeholders, and upper management.
  15. Identify and resolve production issues, safety concerns, and other challenges that may arise.
  16. Implement strategies to optimize processes, improve efficiency, and enhance overall plant performance.
