Job description

Overview

Our Client is a rehab centre focusing on stroke wellness and recovery.

Responsibilities

• Implement therapeutic exercises and activities as directed by the therapist.
• Support therapists in evaluating clients’ readiness and suitability to begin or continue therapy.
• Perform routine assessments and collect outcome measures for clients, following therapist guidelines.
• Document therapy sessions using standardized templates.
• Relay session-related information accurately to the therapists.
• Provide education to clients and caregivers on therapeutic techniques under therapist supervision.
• Independently manage straightforward therapy sessions after consultation with therapists.
• Lead basic or standard group therapy sessions.
• Ensure the correct and safe usage of rehabilitation tools, including tech-assisted equipment.
• Follow infection control protocols and ensure volunteers do the same.
• Help with the setup and testing of new equipment or initiatives.
• Assist in training new or junior therapy assistants.
• Take part in multidisciplinary case discussions with the clinical team.
• Engage in ongoing professional development activities.
• Carry out basic data entry tasks as required.
