MooVita is looking for an experienced Test Engineer to strengthen our Quality Assurance and play a key role in delivering reliable, high-performing software solutions. In this role, you will take ownership of designing and implementing test strategies, developing automation frameworks, and applying industry best practices to ensure product excellence. You will collaborate with technical leads and cross-functional teams, driving continuous improvements while setting the standard for quality within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with technical leads to understand requirements, and develop/maintain new and existing test tools
• Participate in design reviews to align with system requirements and technical specifications
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts, frameworks, and tools to enhance efficiency and coverage
• Design, organize, and maintain detailed test plans, cases, results, and data in line with management strategies
• Perform white, grey, and black box testing using established methodologies
• Prepare test reports and convene review meetings to share progress and findings with stakeholders
• Work closely with teams to resolve issues promptly and ensure proper closure
• Define test policies, guidelines, and strategies for company-wide compliance
• Promote a quality-driven culture and set example as QA team
• Continuously improve testing processes by staying updated with industry trends and best practices

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Proficient in C++ or Python development
• Proficient in Linux operating systems and shell scripting
• Experience of working in a software QA and/or test environment would be an added advantage
• Experience or knowledge in any performance profiling tools like gprof, operf, Nvidia Visual Profiler, Valgrind or ASAN would be an added advantage
• Familiar with the design and implementation of test automation using commercially available or in-house developed test tools
• Experience or knowledge on Autonomous Vehicles (AV) modules, AV sensor drivers and interfaces like ROS and DDS would be an added advantage
• Experience in working with Jira and Xray (test management tool within Jira) would be an added advantage
• Independent worker with strong analytical skills
• Self-initiated with an innovative and out-of-the-box thinking mindset
