Role and Responsibility

We are seeking a technically strong and client-oriented Technical Sales Engineer to manage our key shipyard accounts, especially major marine/offshore clients in Singapore/ South East Asia /other countries. This is a highly challenging role that connects engineering, commercial, and project execution. You will act as the main interface between our clients and internal teams, ensuring fast response, smooth communication, and strong customer confidence. Your performance directly influences our participation in both local and overseas shipyard projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical and commercial contact for major shipyards
• Build strong working relationships with engineering, HVAC, outfitting, and project teams
• Provide technical clarification, solution proposals, and documentation (With Help From Engineering Team)
• Interpret drawings, specifications, and project requirements
• Prepare quotations, BOQs, tender documents, and clarification sheets
• Support variation claims and commercial discussions
• Attend site meetings, inspections, and FAT/SAT
• Follow up on technical issues, modifications, and client requests
• Track competitor trends, pricing movements, and market insights

Requirements

• 5–10 years of experience in shipyard, marine, HVAC, offshore, or mechanical engineering
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems, ducting, or marine mechanical systems
• Ability to read GA/ISO drawings
• Experience dealing with major Singapore shipyards is a strong advantage
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Independent, proactive, and solution-oriented mindset
• Comfortable visiting shipyard sites when required
