A leading machinery and equipment wholesaler in Singapore is seeking a Technical Sales Engineer to provide technical consultation and solutions while managing customer relationships. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and at least 2 years of experience in sales engineering. Overview

Position Title: Technical Sales Engineer (Technical Solutions)

Working Location: Loyang Way

Working Hours: 5 days (Monday-Friday, 8:30AM-5:30PM)

Salary Package: Basic Salary + Car Allowance + VB + Medical & Dental Benefits

Duration: Permanent

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships; conduct needs assessments.
  • Provide technical consultation and solutions aligned with customer goals.
  • Identify, develop, and secure new leads within assigned territory.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations, product demos, quotations, and proposals.
  • Promote company service capabilities and drive service sales.
  • Provide post-sales support, including troubleshooting and follow-ups.
  • Coordinate with engineering and service teams for smooth project delivery.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and competitors.
  • Share customer insights with product and marketing teams.
  • Represent the company at trade shows and seminars locally and overseas.
  • Educate and train customers/internal teams on equipment features and maintenance.
  • Support management with ad-hoc tasks as required.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical preferred) or related field; Diploma holders considered.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in sales engineering, preferably in equipment sales/service.
  • Strong knowledge of vacuum pump technology or similar equipment.
  • Proficiency in technical sales and solution design.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven track record in achieving sales targets and managing customers.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, proactive mindset.
  • Willingness to travel within Southeast Asia (30–40%).
