Overview

Job Title: Technical Sales & Application Engineer ( Process Control & Instrumentation ) (M1-1024)

Location: Kaki Bukit

Working Hours: Monday to Friday 08:30 (09:00) to 18:00 (18:30) on five day week

Salary: $5000

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the Energy meter market and sales of HVAC BTU meter to the industrial and commercial building as part of Building Management & Monitoring System. Knowledge of BCA Green Mark certification is an advantage.
• Sell and market a wide range of flow meters and related products, including Electromagnetic Flow meters, Ultrasonic clamp-on flow meters, Turbine Flow meters, Thermal Mass flow for air/gas applications, Coriolis Mass flow, PD meters, Variable Area flow meters, Vortex Flow meters, Loadcell-based or Radioactive-based Conveyor Belt mass flow meters, Venturi and Orifice flow meters, and flow switches.
• Sell and market a wide range of complementary flow equipment such as flow computers, flow controllers, batch controllers, flow display monitors, process and digital panel meters, and alarm annunciators.
• Sell and market a wide range of level measurement products including Magnetic level gauges, displacers, Magnetostrictive and float-operated level transmitters, Non-Contact Radar, Guided-Wave Radar and Ultrasonic Level transmitters, capacitance & RF/Admittance level transmitters, DP (including Bubbling DP) & Immersion pressure type level transmitters, Radioactive-based Level measurement, Level switches and sensors to detect overflow/overfill of liquid and bulk solid storage tanks.
• Sell and market a wide range of Pressure and Temperature sensors with thermowells for use with flow computers, ACMV/HVAC BTU meters.
• Sell and market a wide range of chart recorders and paperless recorders, digital displays & controllers, Modbus displays and monitors, signal generators and signal conditioners, Lightning Protection Units (LPU), Surge arrestors, Intrinsically Safe barriers and isolating amplifiers.
• Sell and market a wide range of analytical instruments such as Dew Point transmitters, Oil Particle in compressed air monitors, Oil-on-water alarms for pollution monitoring, air leak alarms, pH/REDOX/ TSS meters, Microwave-based moisture and total % weight/concentration meters and density meters, etc.

Qualifications

• Engineering Degree, or Diploma in Instrumentation Control & Automation (ICA), Mechatronics, Electrical and Electronics; candidates strong in Physics & Chemistry; ITE graduates with proven experience and track record are welcome.
• Strong in oral and written presentation skills with a customer-centric service mindset.
• Basic understanding of IoT/SCADA/Building Management Monitoring & Control Systems is helpful.
• Working knowledge and understanding of Explosion Protection standards for hazardous area applications (Ex) and Intrinsically Safe concepts.
• Candidates inclined towards hands-on and practical work are likely to excel.
