Job summary

A consulting engineering firm in Singapore is looking for a Mechanical Engineer to assist in the design and drafting of ACMV systems. Candidates should have at least 5 years of relevant experience, especially in consulting, and be knowledgeable about local building regulations and authority submission procedures. Job Responsibilities

• To assist Engineers in the design and drafting of ACMV, plumbing, sanitary and fire protection engineering works.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and construction teams to resolve design issues and clashes with other trades (electrical, plumbing, etc.).
• Prepare and manage technical submissions, shop drawings, and as-built documentation for ACMV and other mechanical related works.
• Ensure all models and drawings comply with BIM Execution Plans, project workflows, and Singapore BIM Guidelines.
• Incorporate feedback and revisions accurately to support smooth project delivery.
• Assist in maintaining BIM libraries, standards, and workflow improvements for ACMV projects.

Job Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical or related engineering discipline.
• At least 5 years of relevant working experience, preferably in a consulting firm with proven track record in major development projects.
• Conversant in international or local codes and regulations as well as authority submission procedures.
• Possess knowledge in design knowledge, CAD (AutoCAD) and REVIT.
• Detail-oriented with good planning and organization skills.
• Good communication skills and a team player.
