Job summary

A maritime engineering company in Singapore is looking for a qualified individual with expertise in marine engineering and shipbuilding. The role involves ensuring vessels are well-maintained, responding to emergencies, and preparing for audits and inspections. Candidates should have a tertiary education and at least 2 years of experience in the industry, with prior technical management experience being advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Sound technical knowledge of marine engineering, shipbuilding & repair.
• Good understanding of international maritime regulations.
• Must be willing to travel to vessels when required and be available 24/7 for emergency response.
• Ensure vessels are well-maintained and seaworthy.
• Monitor the daily operations of assigned vessels.
• Prepare technical specifications for docking.
• Prepare vessels for inspections and audits.
