The Singapore Aquatics (SAQ) is the governing body for the aquatic sports of swimming, water polo, diving and artistic swimming in Singapore as a member of World Aquatics. SAQ is charged with the development and education of aquatic players, officials, coaches and volunteers throughout Singapore and with the conduct of competitions and programs for all levels of participation.

TEAM MANAGER (MEN'S WATER POLO)
PRIMARY JOB PURPOSE

The Team Manager (Men’s Water Polo) will be responsible for providing comprehensive administrative, logistical, and operational support to the Men’s Water Polo team. This role ensures the smooth execution of local and overseas training, competitions, and major games. The incumbent will coordinate travel and accommodation arrangements, manage team registration and carding matters, oversee equipment and apparel needs, and handle communication with stakeholders. Working closely with the Men’s Water Polo coaches, the Team Manager will play a key role in ensuring the team’s preparedness and success in all engagements.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide administrative support for the Men’s Water Polo teams.
  • Prepare and manage AOR (Approval of Requirement) for local sparring sessions and overseas trips.
  • Coordinate bookings of flights, hotels, and transportation.
  • Handle team carding and competition administration.
  • Manage pool bookings for training and competitions.
  • Assist in preparing trip reports and statements of accounts.
  • Oversee administrative and logistical support for major games.
  • Prepare and publicise the team’s selection policy.
  • Coordinate team registration and trip preparations.
  • Attend competition briefings.
  • Manage distribution of apparel and equipment.
  • Oversee logistics support and acquisition of equipment.
  • Maintain and manage the Men’s Water Polo inventory.
  • Handle enquiries from the public, affiliates, and stakeholders on Men’s Water Polo matters.
  • Support the Men’s Water Polo coaches with any other duties as assigned.
