Job description

We are seeking a dedicated Systems Engineer (Level 1) to provide operational and technical support for our system infrastructure. The role involves supporting clients, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring smooth operations of IT systems across 12-hour shifts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support to customers and respond to service requests promptly.
  • Identify, prioritize, and consolidate issues in accordance with client specifications.
  • Redirect problems to appropriate resources when necessary.
  • Maintain and update procedural documentation for operational processes.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues via phone, email, and web-based tools.
  • Advise customers on proper product usage and address specific user issues.
  • Serve as a liaison between customers and Tier 2 support for escalated issues.
  • Perform mailbox migrations between Exchange systems and from other vendors to Exchange, ensuring seamless transitions.
  • Monitor system health, availability, and functionality.
  • Provide operational support to system infrastructures, ensuring stability and reliability.
Requirements
  • Basic knowledge of Exchange systems, email migrations, and IT infrastructure.
  • Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in 12-hour rotating shifts.
  • Customer-focused and detail-oriented.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with system monitoring tools.
  • Familiarity with ITIL processes and incident management.
