Responsibilities

• A strategic risk management advisory role, reporting to the Head of Insurance Solutions (WPFOIS).
• Develop a systematic risk assessment framework to engage Family Office and Ultra High Net Worth clients to achieve their risk management objectives.
• Work closely with Family Office team in providing total solutions to key clients.
• Identify opportunities with bankers and conduct joint client visits with Family Office and Wealth Planning teams to understand client’s risk management needs and recommend suitable solutions, which includes general and life insurance.
• Work closely with and support the insurance application fulfilment process handled by external insurance providers.
• Perform regulated activities and ensure full compliance with policies, standards, guidelines & procedures in accordance with the Bank and regulatory authorities.
• Ensure all products recommended are approved internally and meet the bank’s internal governance process.
• Perform regular training to private bankers so that they are familiar with concept‑selling, as well as the main attributes of the products and their applications.
• Assist WPFOIS, Insurance Solutions team in planning and executing strategic initiatives.

Requirements

• Familiarity with UHNW segment is a preferred key attribute, with at least 10 to 15 years in private banking or related experience in U/HNW client segments.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of health, general and life insurance.
• Possesses a strong can‑do attitude, business acumen and ability to build strong working relationship with bankers and relevant internal & external stakeholders/partners.
• Possesses CMFAS qualifications for health and general insurance.
• Travelling may be required.
