About the role
This pivotal role drives strategic Change Management and Transformation initiatives across the Group's Regional Cash Operations, encompassing all payment products including Outgoing, Incoming, local RTGS, instant rails, and FX. The incumbent will lead high-impact transformations for key products such as GlobeSend, Gen Ai in Payments, Demand Management, directly shaping the future of DBS's payment landscape.
Responsibilities
- Spearhead Transformative Change: Lead and execute critical change management and transformation programs for Regional Cash Operations, ensuring the successful adoption of new processes and technologies across the Group. This includes comprehensive coverage of all payment products and their associated innovations.
- Lead High-Visibility Strategic Projects: Champion and deliver significant payments-focused transformations, such as GlobeSend for Financial Institutions. Lead the implementation in multiple markets, expanding our global footprint and enhancing client offerings.
- Optimize Operations through Innovation: Lead the strategic implementation of high impact projects, high-priority initiatives set for delivery in mid-2026. This involves navigating complex solution design and operationalization across 15 locations, collaborating closely with multiple teams to ensure adherence and optimal functionality.
- Shape Client Engagement and Digital Adoption: Strategize and collaborate with country operations heads, GTS product teams, and Group IBG Digital teams to drive clients towards digital channels, significantly reducing manual processes and enhancing the overall client experience
- Strategic Stakeholder Engagement: Effectively manage and influence senior stakeholders across GTS, Technology, Compliance, and Country IBGO heads. Actively participate and provide critical contributions in Project Steering Committees for high-impact, high-visibility initiatives, ensuring alignment and successful project outcomes
- Program Delivery Excellence: Drive programs to achieve on-target, on-time deliveries through close collaboration and effective interaction with business, technology, and operations teams, ensuring seamless execution and tangible results.Lead and support various Regional Cash projects through participation as core member including End to end project management, UAT, Operationalisation.
Requirements
- Regional Cash Subject Matter Expert on Cash related products like Payments, Receivables, Liquidity management products and Digital Channels.
- Expert on cash management products like Payments, Receivables, Digital Channels and Liquidity management.
- Good knowledge of Cash Management applications and technology covering mainframe systems for Receivables, Liquidity Management and Payment systems like SWIFT, payment processing and local clearing systems.
- Liaise with Senior stakeholders e.g T&O teams across locations to gather requirements and document user stories, business teams and technology teams for project implementation.
- Familiar with change management lifecycle and agile methodology.
- Perform end to end UAT i.e. Plan UAT, document test scenarios, document and execute test cases.
- Provide timely updates and status reports on progress of projects to all key stakeholders; elevate issues in a timely manner.
- Lead and Manage a team of test managers and testers to deliver the projects testing in a timely manner maintaining high quality standards.
- Knowledge and experience of Gen Ai related implementation is an additional advantage.
- Sound knowledge of payment systems, Channels, workflow is preferred.
- Adapt to complex environment, challenging timelines, multiple priorities.
