Job description

THE OPPORTUNITY

What will you do:

  • Maintain and update planning data in ERP systems (including BOM, Material Master data, routing, work centre) and ensure adherence to standard processes.
  • Ensure production meets customer demands within the scheduled period.
  • Align with the Production schedule to oversee customer sales order execution, escalating issues as needed.
  • Ensure IPT Tier visual systems display accurate information as specified.
  • Manage raw material procurement and delivery from vendors, acting as the point of contact for issues related to quality and delivery performance.
  • Maintain supply metrics related to IPT Tiers (e.g., SA, IOTIF).
  • Update documentation, SOPs, JAs, BP related to Scheduling & Buying processes.
  • Focus on self-development and continuous process improvement.
  • Assist in gathering information for audits and APR from SCM perspective.
  • Participate in investigations related to materials and planning systems, ensuring timely completion without impacting deliveries.
  • Monitor inventory performance against targets, including IQV and recertification of materials.
  • Procure goods and services, including packing materials, raw materials, intermediates, and solvents.
  • Coordinate with vendors and freight forwarders for shipping documentation and delivery, supporting the D&L Warehouse Team as needed.
  • Participate in IPT tier meetings, leading as required.

What you should have:

  • 3-5 years of experience in Production Control, Planning, or Procurement/Buying.
  • Experience in manufacturing, managing multiple ERP systems, metrics reporting, and knowledge of Quality systems, cGMP, and regulatory inspections.
  • Experience with MPS/LEAN operational excellence is highly preferred.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize, and adapt to changing conditions.
  • Excellent attention to detail and drive for process improvement.
