Job summary

A leading technology firm in Singapore is seeking an experienced Strategic Partner Manager to drive partnerships within the gaming industry. You will be responsible for engaging with key clients, analyzing business metrics, and collaborating across teams. The ideal candidate has at least 6 years of experience in business development/account management, a solid understanding of the internet/mobile app industry, and fluency in Korean. This role is critical for managing the Korea Account and liaising with local clients.

Job description
Strategic Partner Manager

12 months contract

Responsibilities
  • Think creatively with prominent companies in the gaming industry to build sustainable and long-term partnerships by understanding their strategy and goals
  • Represent Facebook Play platform and provide thought leadership and perspectives in external meetings with partner executives
  • Own adoption of Facebook Play platform in game developers
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including product, engineering, design, marketing, operations, and finance
  • Track and analyse and communicate key quantitative metrics and business trends as they relate to partner relationships at scale
  • Use analysis and gaming industry expertise to source and develop new partner opportunities
  • Manage and consult existing partners on building up their success on Facebook Play platform
  • Adapt quickly to product changes and limitations, and communicate these strategically to stakeholders both internally and externally
Minimum Qualifications
  • 6+ year experiences in business development or account management
  • BS/BA in a highly quantitative field, such as Economics, Business, or equivalent experiences preferred
  • Experience working effectively and cross‑functionally with all levels of management, both internally and externally
  • Ability to define, initiate and drive business opportunities in a fast‑paced, rapidly changing environment
  • Good understanding of the internet/mobile app industry
  • Advanced skill in MS Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Fluency in Korean required as this role requires to manage the Korea Account and to liaise with clients & counterparts in Korea.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Deep domain knowledge of the gaming industry
  • Ability to handle day to day operational work to also structure, negotiate, and maintain significant and complex strategic relationships with gaming companies
  • Identify and leverage trends within industry of expertise/focus
