Overview

Our client is looking for a Staff Nurse - Renal to join their team. You will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to dialysis patients, monitoring their condition during treatment, operating dialysis equipment, and supporting their ongoing renal care needs with professionalism and compassion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct nursing care to patients undergoing haemodialysis or peritoneal dialysis in accordance with established clinical protocols.
  • Prepare and operate dialysis machines and related equipment.
  • Assess patients' conditions before, during, and after dialysis treatments.
  • Monitor vital signs and promptly report any abnormal findings or complications.
  • Administer medications and manage vascular access sites (e.g., AV fistula, catheter care).
  • Educate patients and caregivers on renal disease, dialysis treatment, dietary restrictions, and medication adherence.
  • Collaborate with nephrologists and the multidisciplinary team to deliver patient-centered care.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient care and treatment progress.
  • Comply with infection control and patient safety standards.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ongoing professional development.
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse with the relevant nursing board (e.g., Singapore Nursing Board SNB).
  • Diploma or Degree in Nursing from a recognized institution.
  • Minimum 2 years of clinical experience, preferably in a renal/dialysis setting.
  • Prior experience in haemodialysis or peritoneal dialysis is strongly preferred.
  • Skilled in managing dialysis equipment and vascular access sites.
  • Strong communication, patient education, and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
  • Team player with a compassionate and patient-focused approach.
