Social Worker / Counsellor / Caseworker - Pre-Family Guidance Order (Pre-FGO), Family Guidance Order (FGO), and Integrated Service Provider (ISP)

Job Description

  • Work with youths and families on Family Guidance Order (FGO), and Integrated Service Provider (ISP) related work.
  • Conduct assessment, casework & counselling, and groupwork for youth-at-risk / youth offenders and their families.
  • Collaborative work with external stakeholders (MSF, Youth Court, Law Enforcement Agencies and Schools)
  • You will also be required to contribute to other ad-hoc projects within the team and organisation.

Requirements

  • Degree in social work, counselling, or psychology.
  • At least 1-2 years’ experience in working with youth and family will be preferred
  • Resilience in supporting clients through crises that arise during intervention.
  • Able to be creative and relentless in engagement of potentially resistant at-risk youths and their families.
  • Open to working flexibly outside office hours to match families’ schedules when needed.
  • Open to delivering intervention to families in their homes.
  • Counselling skills and knowledge of the social service landscape
  • Good report writing skills with ability to meet timeline.
