Job summary

A healthcare institution in Singapore is seeking a Social Work Assistant to work alongside social workers, assess client needs, and assist in fieldwork. The ideal candidate has a Diploma in Social Work and preferably two years of relevant experience. Fresh graduates are also considered. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Possess a Diploma in Social Work, preferably with 2 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in working with special needs children/adults would be an added advantage.
• Pro-active work attitude with good interpersonal, communication and organisational skills.

• Co-work with social worker on cases and assist them with their daily tasks.

• Working with social workers to determine Intervention plans and termination of cases.
• Assist in fieldwork and home visits
• Researching and coordinating community services
• Helping clients to complete the necessary paperwork to apply for assistance
• Administering various subsidies and claims
• Undertaking regular check-ins with clients.
• Documenting client behavior, maintaining of case updates/recordings, filing
• Assessment, minutes taking
• Provide support in any other work duties or projects (if any)

Job Specifications
