Job summary

A trusted Singapore construction company is seeking a Site Engineer to manage daily site operations and ensure projects are executed timely and according to specifications. The role requires a degree in Civil/Structural Engineering and at least one year of relevant project experience. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of safety regulations and excellent communication skills. This is a full-time, permanent position based in Marsiling, Singapore, offering a competitive salary of up to $5000 plus a variable bonus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of relevant industrial or commercial project experience.
• Strong knowledge of construction codes and safety regulations.
• Candidate who can start immediately or within short notice preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily site operations according to project schedules.
• Interpret and apply construction drawings and specifications.
• Collaborate with consultants, architects, and subcontractors to resolve issues.
• Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and quality standards.
• Conduct site inspections and maintain accurate records.
• Prepare method statements and documentation to support project delivery.
• Assist with material requisitions and quantity take-offs.
• Work closely with the Safety Officer to uphold safety standards.
• Provide updates to the Project Manager on progress and challenges.

• Working Hours: Mon – Fri 8am – 5pm, Sat 8am - 12pm
• Monthly Salary: Basic up to $5000 + Variable Bonus (VB)

Responsibility

• Supervise and coordinate daily site operations to ensure construction activities progress according to project schedules.
• Interpret and apply construction drawings, specifications, and technical documents to guide site execution.
• Collaborate with consultants, architects, subcontractors, and suppliers to resolve site and technical issues efficiently.
• Ensure all site works comply with statutory regulations, project requirements, and established quality standards.
• Conduct regular site inspections, monitor progress, and maintain accurate records of daily activities.
• Prepare method statements, shop drawings, and as-built documentation to support project delivery.
• Assist with material requisitions, quantity take-offs, and measurement of work completed for progress claims.
• Work closely with the Safety Officer and Project Manager to uphold safety standards and ensure compliance with protocols.
• Provide timely updates to the Project Manager on progress, potential delays, and technical challenges

Requirements

• Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering recognized PEB or BCA, Singapore
• Minimum 1 year of relevant industrial or commercial project experience
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, codes and safety regulations
• Good interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively.
