Job summary

A global shipping company in Singapore is seeking a professional to optimize vessel operations while minimizing costs. The role includes preparing daily reports, monitoring cargo connections, and working with various stakeholders in the container shipping industry. Candidates should hold a degree in Maritime Transportation or a related field, have at least 2 years of experience, and possess strong communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to work under pressure are essential. Knowledge of CASP is an advantage but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in the container shipping industry.
• Works long hours, including weekends and public holidays when necessary.
• Knowledge of CASP is beneficial but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Ensure optimization of vessels for overall network and cost minimization.
• Monitor slot utilization of vessels against allocation and capacity.
• Prepare daily reports to liners and facilitate decision-making.
