Job summary

A leading MNC contractor in Singapore is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor for a permanent position. The role involves managing all Quantity Surveyor duties related to civil infrastructure projects, including preparation of cost estimations and liaising with subcontractors. The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of experience in building construction projects and a relevant diploma or degree. A competitive salary package of up to $7,000 plus bonuses is offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in building construction projects is preferred.
• Experience with QS tendering in civil infrastructure projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Reporting to Contract manager for HQ tenders projects.
• Responsible for building Quantity Surveyor duties.
• Liaise with consultants and subcontractors on progress claims.
• Prepare subcontract documents and purchasing agreements.
• Prepare cost estimation and identify variation works.
• Source quotations from sub-contractors and prepare cost comparisons.
• Manage variation orders or EOT claims.
• Liaise with project site and subcontractors on contractual issues.

• Variation order or EOT claims
• Liaise with the project site, subcontractors, and contractual issues

Job Requirements

• Diploma/ Degree in construction management/ Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years in building construction projects is preferred
