Job summary

A leading healthcare institution in Singapore is seeking a Clinical Psychologist to provide clinical assessments and psychological interventions for children and adolescents. The successful candidate will develop care management plans and collaborate with community partners, supporting educators in managing students with mental health conditions. A Master's or Doctorate in a relevant field and eligibility for registration with a recognized body are essential. Strong communication skills are crucial for this role.

Qualifications

  • Masters/Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology or related field from a recognized university.
  • Eligible for registration with SRP, APA, APS, or BPS.
  • Experience in conducting cognitive and academic assessments preferred.

Responsibilities

Job description

The Clinical Psychologist will provide clinical assessment and psychological intervention to improve the psychological health of children and adolescents in schools. To formulate and develop care management plans for referred students in collaboration with community partners and also support Allied Educators in schools to manage students with mental health conditions. Be involved in developing a mental health network for children and adolescents in the community.

Job Requirements:

  • Masters/Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology or Education Psychology from a recognized university.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work independently in a multidisciplinary team, as well as with professionals from other organisations.

  • Proficiency in Communication skills (spoken and written). Second Language (spoken) is preferred.

  • Well developed clinical assessment and formulation skills.

  • Experience in conducting cognitive and academic assessments preferred.

  • Eligible for a valid registration, license or practising certificate with an established or recognised psychological professional body such as SRP, APA, APS or BPS.
