Responsibilities

The successful candidate will provide comprehensive support to the Director overseeing Corporate Planning.

• Initial core duties such as interpretation, translation, and preparation of documents. Depending on performance, motivation, and capability, there will be opportunities to advance into specialized areas including Corporate Analysis, Governance, M&A, PMI, IR, Accounting, and more
• Interpretation and translation from English to Japanese and vice versa
• Preparation of reports, presentations, and documents using MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
• Taking and summarising meeting minutes
• Conducting market and competitor research and analysis
• Performing other ad-hoc tasks as assigned

Requirements

• Minimum bachelor’s degree
• At least 4-5 years of working experience is required
• Business level Japanese language proficiency to communicate with Headquarter in Japan and Japanese-speaking stakeholders.
• Experience translating business documents between English and Japanese
• Willing to travel overseas for business as required
• Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
