DESIGNATION

Senior Manager (Security)

RESPONSIBILITIES

You will supervise, monitor and manage a team of in-house and outsourced security staff, as well as plan and conduct security audits and systematic checks. You are required to carry out inspections to ensure all security systems, services and technologies are well maintained and fully operational, and conduct troubleshooting wherever necessary. You will also plan, coordinate and manage security arrangements for VIP visits, and work with your team of in-house and outsourced security officers to manage crowd control during peak hours and major events in the Gardens. You will liaise with workgroups and tenants/clients on logistics and vehicular/pedestrian access matters, and plan and manage logistics arrangements for visits in consultation with other divisions, as well as other relevant organisations. You will also be expected to devise and craft Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) where required.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Degree or Diploma in relevant fields
  • At least 6 years of relevant working experience in managing security systems, projects and security guards
  • Proven experience in leading and managing a team
  • Experience in crowd control and managing large scale events
  • Good communication skills and ability to motivate team are essential
  • Able to work on weekends and after office hours
