Job summary

A local beauty salon in Singapore is seeking experienced Hair Stylists to provide a variety of hair services and promote beauty packages. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 6 years of experience, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to communicate in basic Chinese and English. Qualifications

• 3 to 6 years of experience in hair styling.
• Able to do wash, blow-dry, all chemical works (Treatment, Colour, Rebonding/Perm).
• Able to speak basic Chinese and English.

Responsibilities

• Provide all hair services including cutting, shampooing, coloring, and treatments.
• Promote packages and sell products.
• Manage bookings and welcome clients to the store.
• Perform scalp treatments.

Glam Salon is a beauty & hair salon located at the Heart of Jurong west market. Our parent company have been in the beauty industry for over 15 years. Our clients are mainly from the neighbourhood with large customer base. We offer a huge variety of hair services for our clients as well as other beauty services such as facial and TCM treatments.

We are expanding and requires new enthusiastic hairstylists who are not only outgoing but also a competent team player in order to work with other associates to promote wide variety of beauty / hair packages and services to our customers.

We are looking for experienced Hair Stylists (Full-Time) to our growing family.

Compensation

(Basic Salary + Commission)

Basic Requirements

• Able to do wash, blow-dry, all chemical works (Treatment, Colour, Rebonding/Perm).
• 6 days work week
• Other ad‑hoc duties instructed by the manager
• Promote wide range of services and packages
• Excellent customer service and communication
• Hardworking and team cooperation
• Able to commute well with peers / a team player
• Able to speak basic Chinese and English to maintain good after‑sales relationship with different racial clients. (Most clients speak English and Chinese only)
• Strong negotiation and selling skills, well groomed and presentable.
• Independent and self‑motivated

Responsibilities

• Provide all hair services (Cutting, Shampooing, colouring, highlighting, rebonding, perm, treatments)
• Promotion of packages
• Products sales
• Managing bookings and welcoming clients into the store (All staffs required)
• Perform scalp treatments
