Overview

These services include education, learning, therapy, social care, and community integration efforts that foster inclusive opportunities delivered through early intervention centres, SPED schools and other programmes.

Our People and Culture team plans, builds and designs people strategies to ensure that Rainbow Centre has a competent and passionate workforce to meet the aspirations of our service users. The Senior Executive, Shared Services will provide HR support in a Special Education (SPED) School, ensure accurate execution of HR operations, and leverage HR systems to deliver quality services. The Senior Executive, Shared Services will be stationed onsite in the School Administration Office for 4 days a week and he/she will spend the remaining 1 day in HQ office to stay aligned with organisational HR policies and practices.

The Rainbow Centre Finance Team ensures the overall financial health of the organisation, supporting budgeting, financial planning and long-term financial goals. The Senior Executive, Accounts plays a critical role in maintaining financial integrity and supporting effective financial management. They work with school leaders, programme and unit leaders to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis for sound decision-making aligned to Rainbow Centre’s strategic goals.

Rainbow Centre Training and Consultancy advances the mission by building the capabilities of persons with disabilities, caregivers, sector professionals, and partners. The Senior Trainer serves as a subject matter expert in special education and related fields, partnering with internal and external stakeholders to identify learning needs, design, and deliver high-quality competency-based programmes.

We have current openings for Assistant Teachers in our Special Education Schools. Working under the guidance of trained educators, Assistant Teachers contribute to the quality learning experiences for our students, and support in the curriculum delivery to help our students to acquire valuable skills and knowledge. Assistant Teachers also foster partnerships with parents and participate in the building of a more inclusive community involving various stakeholders, in the endeavour for Good Lives for our students.

Responsibilities
  • The Learning Facilitator (Special Education) role: located at Margaret Drive, Yishun Park, All locations; Reporting to the Senior Teacher and working under the guidance of the Teacher(s). The Assistant Learning Facilitator supports the Teachers to provide quality learning experiences for students and support the best delivery of the curriculum. Those with experience will be appointed as Learning Facilitators.
  • The Class Support role: reporting to the Senior Teacher; assisting the teaching team in various teaching activities, including supporting students in transitions and their hygiene care needs.
  • The Early Intervention Teacher and Early Interventionist roles: responsible for providing quality and effective learning experiences for students through the best delivery of the curriculum and using effective teaching and classroom management strategies; leading a teaching team and partnering with family members, allied professionals, community and other stakeholders; engaging in reflective practice and professional development.
  • The Assistant Teacher role: reporting to the Senior Early Interventionist and supervising SEI; the position is catered to applicants who are currently enrolled or eligible to be enrolled in the Specialist Diploma in Early Childhood Intervention (SDESN).
  • The Assistant Care Facilitator: reporting to the Centre Head and Senior Care Facilitators; responsible for the provision of quality care, learning opportunities and meaningful engagement for students to support life skills development.
