Department & Role

A&O Shearman Singapore is a hub for the firms work across ASEAN and India. Our history in Singapore spans more than 20 years. We were one of the first international firms to be granted a Singapore Qualifying Foreign Law Practice (QFLP) license in 2008, allowing us to practice Singapore law, and only one of four to have had the license renewed for a further full five-year term in 2014. Role requirements

• Experience working in the APAC region
• Experience in complex cross‑border and multi‑jurisdictional litigation work for an international law firm
• Experience in commercial arbitrations and investment treaty arbitrations
• Experience in a broad range of disputes, including large‑scale international arbitrations, price review proceedings and litigation
• Excellent Client Relationships skills
• Strong commercial/business acumen with the ability to deliver creative and pragmatic solutions and advice
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interface at all levels and particularly to win the respect of the partner and fee‑earner community, building strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
• Collaborative team player with the ability to develop and work in a fast‑paced, intellectually rigorous environment
