This role will lead the finance and accounting functions for the Toyogo group of companies. As the custodian of the company’s financial assets, the incumbent will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial records, managing financial data integrity, and overseeing inventory costing, among other responsibilities. Additionally, this role serves as a vital business partner, leveraging financial expertise to collaborate across departments and provide financial insights that drive informed decision-making and optimise organisational performance.

Job Scope:
  • Oversee the complete spectrum of accounting and finance activities.
  • Ensure operational efficiency and effectiveness in daily accounting functions, implementing process improvements as necessary.
  • Lead, supervise, and mentor a team of accounting professionals to ensure timely and accurate report submissions and professional development.
  • Prepare comprehensive monthly management reports to facilitate business reviews and performance management.
  • Conduct financial analysis and modelling to support investment decisions and drive business growth initiatives.
  • Assist management in the annual budgeting and financial planning processes, providing forward-planning support.
  • Develop and implement financial controls and policies to safeguard the company’s assets.
Requirement:
  • Diploma or degree in accounting, ACCA, or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience leading accounting and finance functions.
  • Proven track record in training, mentoring, and guiding cross-functional teams.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with nested formulas and array formulas is a plus.
  • Strong expertise in ERP system administration, setup, or configuration.
  • At least 3 years of hands‑on experience with Navision or Business Central is advantageous.
  • Previous experience in the warehousing and/or retail industry will be viewed favourably.
