Job Roles & Responsibilities

Job Roles & Responsibilities: Reporting to the Operation Manager (OM), the candidate will assist him in supervisory function as well as carrying out the following duties:

• Maintaining the security and safety of school premises and property;
• Operating the school burglar alarm system;
• Operating the school auto lightning warning system;
• Resolving school traffic movements;
• Ensure operations department’s projects or works are completed timely;
• Assist the security OIC under the school emergency structure;
• Assist the OM in managing the contractors and to ensure that the contractors abide to the Workplace Safety and Health Act (WSHA);
• Working with the school Managing Agent and contract cleaners on the maintenance of school cleanliness and hygiene.
• The candidate will also assist OM in:
• Periodic stock check of the stores for health, emergency and safety equipment and other logistics;
• Logistics support for school activities, excursions and functions;
• Any other administration / operation duties assigned.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 GCE N Level passes including English Language at Grade 5 or better, or equivalent qualification;
• Preferably with Workforce Skills Qualifications (WSQ) Career Readiness Certificate (Operations Level) or equivalent;
• Possess one (1) year frontline Customer Service experience;
• Minimum one (1) year experience with MOE school in security and operations field, or equivalent;
• Possess one (1) year experience in supervisory experience with contract cleaners;
• Possess one (1) year experience with traffic control or visitor screening;
• Physically fit and mobile;
• Preferably with a Security Officer’s license issued by Police Licensing & Regulatory Department (PLRD);
• Preferably with Standard First Aid Certification;
• Preferably with one (1) year of supervisory and leadership skills to manage a group of security guards and contract cleaners, in the absence of the OM.
