Job description
Position: School Assistant Manager, Academic (Graduate Programmes)

Location: West Area

Salary: Up to $6500/month

Responsibilities

The key responsibilities include (but not limited to):

  1. Admissions Administration
    • Participate in physical and virtual outreach
    • Oversee the end-to-end admissions process, from application review to offer issuance.
    • Manage the admissions and application processes
    • Collaborate with faculty and programme committees to manage application evaluations.
    • Maintain and improve admissions systems and processes.
    • Generate and analyse applications, admissions and scholarships data
  2. Programme Management
    • Oversee timetable planning in consultation with Programme Directors, faculty and instructors.
    • Oversee the course registration process
    • Oversee submission of proposals for new courses
    • Manage programme teaching requests from faculty, part-time instructors and guest speakers.
    • Manage intake and enrolment projections in consultation with Programme Directors.
    • Track and monitor the budget and expenditure of allocated budgets for graduate research programme.
  3. Student Administration
    • Provide programme-related guidance to current students.
    • Manage programme administration across the student lifecycle, covering various processes
    • Provide ongoing support and guidance to graduate students throughout the student cycle.
    • Provide support for academic related tasks
  4. Events
    • Conceptualise and organise events/activities for graduate students
    • Oversee event administration and logistics, including food catering and liaison with external parties to ensure the successful execution of each event.
    • Support university-wide events
