About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced SAP ABAP Developer to join our dynamic team in Singapore. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ABAP development, extensive experience with SAP brownfield implementations, and a solid understanding of SAP Public Cloud. This role involves collaborating with functional teams to design, develop, and optimize solutions that meet business needs while leveraging the latest SAP technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Development & Customization:Design, develop, and test custom SAP ABAP programs, enhancements, forms, reports, and interfaces.
  Implement ABAP solutions for SAP modules such as S/4HANA, ECC, and others in both on-premise and cloud environments.
  
• Implementation Expertise:Lead and contribute to SAP brownfield migration projects, ensuring high-quality custom developments and enhancements during the transition.
  Develop and optimize ABAP solutions for SAP Public Cloud deployments.
  
• System Integration:Collaborate with functional teams to gather requirements and provide technical expertise for end-to-end solutions.
  Develop and troubleshoot interfaces using ALE, IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, and Web Services.
  
• Code Optimization & Quality:Conduct performance tuning and code reviews to ensure efficient and maintainable solutions.
  Adhere to SAP development standards and best practices.
  
• Collaboration & Support:Work closely with stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions aligned with business goals.
  Provide technical support and resolve issues during and after implementation.
  

Requirements

Essential Skills & Experience:

• Minimum 8 years of hands‑on experience in SAP ABAP development.
• Proven track record in SAP brownfield implementation projects.
• Strong expertise in SAP Public Cloud solutions and development tools.
• Proficiency in core ABAP programming (e.g., Reports, Dialog Programming, ALV), Object‑Oriented Programming (OOP), and modern ABAP techniques.
• Experience with S/4HANA, CDS views, AMDP, and Fiori/UI5 development.
• Solid understanding of integration technologies (e.g., OData, REST APIs).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in ABAP for SAP HANA or related areas.
• Knowledge of SAP functional modules and processes (e.g., SD, MM, FI/CO).
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and DevOps practices.

Soft Skills:

• Strong problem‑solving and debugging skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work with cross‑functional teams.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
