JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsibilities
  • Book and arrange shipments with carriers, based on customer and operational requirements.
  • Check and verify the accuracy of the Bill of Lading (B/L) before sending it to the customer for confirmation.
  • Coordinate closely with freight forwarders and shipping lines to ensure timely and accurate shipment arrangements.
  • Communicate with customers to provide shipment updates and assist with any queries related to documentation or delivery.
  • Handle administrative tasks related to shipping operations, including data entry, record keeping, and documentation processing.
  • Resolve any issues that may arise during the shipping process, such as booking errors, document discrepancies, or shipment delays.
  • Review and ensure the completeness and accuracy of shipping documents, including commercial invoices, packing lists, B/L, and Certificate of Origin.
  • Maintain organized records and filing systems for all shipping documents to ensure easy access and audit readiness.
  • Ensure all shipments comply with relevant export and import regulations and internal company policies.
  • Collaborate with internal departments such as sales, warehouse, and finance to align shipping schedules and documentation needs.
  • Ensure the timely release and submission of shipping documents to customers, banks, or relevant authorities when required.
