Sales Engineer (Industrial Machinery / Engineering Equipment)
Responsibilities
  • Drive sales growth for the department and expand customer base
  • Manage sales activities for chillers and related products, including follow-up on ongoing and upcoming projects
  • Monitor project progress and update on key stakeholders (consultants, contractors, etc.)
  • Conduct product and service presentations to consultants, developers, and engineering firms
  • Build and maintain relationships through regular client visits and technical support
  • Participate in tender submissions, including cost estimation, compliance review, and document preparation
  • Perform financial or technical analysis to support project costing and feasibility
  • Provide technical clarifications and assist in commercial negotiations
  • Manage existing client accounts and after-sales support
  • Prepare quotations, liaise with vendors for costings, and handle purchase order processes
  • Coordinate with service teams for delivery and site execution when necessary
  • Maintain accurate records of activities, client interactions, and project details in CRM
Qualifications
  • Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering (other engineering disciplines may be considered)
  • Proven sales experience in an engineering or technical field
  • Strong presentation and communication skills
  • Analytical and problem‑solving ability
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Possess a valid Class 3 driving license
