Job Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular inspections of construction sites—including tools, equipment, and work processes—to identify hazards and enforce corrective actions promptly
  • Perform risk assessments and lead incident/near-miss investigations. Prepare clear, actionable reports to prevent recurrence.
  • Design, implement, and review safety policies, procedures, and behavioral safety initiatives aligned with WSH (Workplace Safety and Health) regulation
  • Deliver safety training and regular toolbox briefings to site personnel; ensure awareness of safe work methods and protocols
  • Maintain comprehensive safety records—including inspections, risk assessments, and incident logs—ensuring compliance with WSH Act and subsidiary regulations
  • Work closely with project managers, contractors, and MOM inspectors to promote continuous improvement and adherence to safety standards
  • Ensure all Earth Control Measures (ECMs) are implemented in accordance with PUB and NEA regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct routine site inspections to monitor the effectiveness of ECMs and promptly identify and report any non-compliance or areas of concern.

Job Requirements:

  • Certifications: Registered WSHO with the Ministry of Manpower (MOM) and a registered ECO (SCS) with the National Environment Agency (NEA).
  • ECMO Registration: Preferred 2 years’ valid registration as an ECMO with the Institution of Engineers Singapore (IES) at the time of application.
  • Experience: At least 2 years of relevant working experience in high-rise building construction projects.
  • Experience in Hospital related projects will be advantageous
  • Strong understanding of safety and environmental compliance standards applicable to construction worksites.
  • Good communication and observation skills with a proactive and detail-oriented approach.
