Safety & Health Manager
In this role, you will:

• Support the development and implementation of DSO safety and health regulations, ensuring alignment with the latest legislative requirement
• Serve as the primary contact for safety and health inquiries from various stakeholders, providing expert guidance and advice
• Collaborate closely with safety representatives and facility managers across divisions, keeping them informed of important updates and changes to regulations, and fostering a proactive safety culture
• Monitor and support ongoing safety and health practices across divisions will be key to maintaining a high standard of compliance
• Oversee contractor safety, ensure all safety requirements are met, and conduct occasional inspections to confirm compliance
• Play an essential role in incident investigations, providing guidance on corrective actions, and ensuring that lessons learned are communicated to prevent future incidents

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Degree in Chemistry / Engineering / Safety Management / Safety, Health & Environment Management / Safety, Health & Environmental Tech
• Has 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in safety related work
• Registered Workplace Safety Officer with MOM
• Certification in Fire Safety Manager is an added advantage
• Independent worker and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
