The Corporate Policies and Services (CPS) Division undertakes a range of responsibilities in innovation, Strategic Planning, and Partnerships, and collaborates with R&D divisions in the areas of Finance, Estate Management, and Procurement to meet DSO’s strategic and business needs

Safety & Health Manager
In this role, you will:
- Support the development and implementation of DSO safety and health regulations, ensuring alignment with the latest legislative requirement
- Serve as the primary contact for safety and health inquiries from various stakeholders, providing expert guidance and advice
- Collaborate closely with safety representatives and facility managers across divisions, keeping them informed of important updates and changes to regulations, and fostering a proactive safety culture
- Monitor and support ongoing safety and health practices across divisions will be key to maintaining a high standard of compliance
- Oversee contractor safety, ensure all safety requirements are met, and conduct occasional inspections to confirm compliance
- Play an essential role in incident investigations, providing guidance on corrective actions, and ensuring that lessons learned are communicated to prevent future incidents
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Degree in Chemistry / Engineering / Safety Management / Safety, Health & Environment Management / Safety, Health & Environmental Tech
- Has 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in safety related work
- Registered Workplace Safety Officer with MOM
- Certification in Fire Safety Manager is an added advantage
- Independent worker and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
