Job Summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Part-Time Sports Retail Store Assistant to join our team. If you have a passion for sports and a knack for creating exceptional customer experiences, we want to hear from you! In this role, you will be the face of our brand, assisting customers with their needs, offering product expertise, and contributing to a positive and engaging retail environment.

Responsibilities

Customer Service Excellence:

  • Greet all customers warmly and offer proactive assistance.
  • Actively listen to customer needs and provide personalized recommendations based on their interests and requirements.
  • Handle customer inquiries through CRM, resolve issues, and process returns/exchanges efficiently and courteously.
  • Ensure a consistently positive and helpful experience for every customer.

Sales Support:

  • Assist customers with product selection, fitting, and demonstrating features (e.g., shoe fitting, racket grip sizing).
  • Process transactions accurately using our POS system.
  • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of current products, promotions, and store policies.

Store Operations:

  • Help maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing sales floor, ensuring products are well-stocked and merchandised.
  • Assist with receiving new inventory, tagging, and stocking shelves.
  • Support opening and closing procedures as required.
  • Contribute to a safe and secure shopping environment for customers and staff.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in a customer service role, preferably within a retail environment.
  • A genuine passion for sports and an understanding of sports equipment/apparel.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work flexible part-time hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a positive, can-do attitude.
