Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Singapore is looking for a Construction Supervisor to oversee site operations under BCA regulations. Responsibilities include coordinating construction works, maintaining site safety, and submitting progress reports. Candidates must possess a Diploma in Civil Engineering and have at least 3 years of relevant experience in civil contracts. Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Project is required, as well as familiarity with local codes. This is a full-time position.

Job description

To carry out construction supervision of construction works as required under the BCA regulations and ensure that the design documentation is safely and accurately implemented on site.

Responsible for the co-ordination of work on site and ensure construction safety.

Undertake any other duties related to the project assigned.

To ensure that all installation methods and material used are in accordance with the contract drawings and specifications.

To liaise with the contractors in the coordination of site works and resolving site installation problems.

Maintain a daily site records and submit weekly progress report with photographs to the Consultant/Project Lead.

To proactively highlight issue and any unusual site findings to the Consultant/Project Lead to ensure solutions or directions are given in a timely manner.

Able to work under pressure with ability to work independently

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent from Singapore Polytechnic or other tertiary institutions of equivalent standing/ be accredited by JAC of IES / ACES as QSS.
• minimum 3 Years of experience in nature to Works in Civil Contracts.
• National Certificate on Construction Supervision from BCA or equivalent preferred.
• Familiar with local codes and regulations, as well as technical knowledge.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel and Project for project update and report.
