Job description

We are looking for skilled registered nurses to join our private healthcare clients in Singapore. If your expertise is in IV cannulation (blood drawing) OR in operating theatre (scrub), either or - choose your specialty. Don't need to have experience in both skillsets. Kindly apply and your designated recruiter will advise you further.

Work location: Central

Working hours: 5.5 days work week (Mon – Fri and half Sat), fixed office hours

Responsibilities for IV Cannulation Nurse

• Perform general nursing duties in the clinic, including IV Cannulation, venepuncture and phlebotomy procedures.
• Prepare patients for health screenings and radiology services.
• Assist doctors during consultations, procedures, and treatments.
• Handle patient registration, appointment bookings, and respond to phone enquiries.
• Follow up with patients regarding any feedback, concerns, or post-visit issues.
• Coordinate and communicate effectively with various teams to ensure smooth and efficient center operations.
• Maintain cleanliness, readiness, and proper functioning of all medical equipment and instruments.
• Collate patients’ medical results and accurately document assessment findings and progress.
• Provide administrative support to the department when required.
• Perform any other ad-hoc duties assigned by the Wellness Manager.

Responsibilities for Operating Theatre (OT) Scrub Nurse

• Assist the doctor during consultations and clinic procedures.
• Scrub in with the doctor to Operating Theatre when required.
• Provide clear instructions to patients regarding ordered tests and procedures.
• Coordinate surgical bookings, including operation theatre, ward admission, anesthetists, frozen section services, and other required arrangements.
• Conduct financial counselling for patients undergoing procedures and surgeries by giving estimated cost breakdowns.
• Liaise with insurance companies to raise pre-authorizations.
• Maintain consistent communication with patients undergoing treatment, offering guidance and support.

Key Requirements

• Min. Diploma in Nursing with valid SNB registration (Registered Nurse)
• At least 2 years of clinical nursing experience as a scrub nurse or in blood taking / IV cannulation.
• A strong team player with a proactive and responsible attitude.
• Bonus if able to speak in Chinese to liaise with Chinese-speaking patients day-to-day
