Job summary

A global logistics company in Singapore is looking for a Tender Management Specialist to handle tenders and enhance strategic objectives. The ideal applicant will support tender submissions, liaise with APAC stakeholders, and maintain tender records. Key skills include advanced Excel, problem-solving abilities, and a strong command of English. Prior experience in freight forwarding or logistics is necessary, alongside a diploma in a related field. This role operates Monday to Friday, from 8:30 AM to 6 PM.

Qualifications

  • 2-3 years’ experience in the freight forwarding/logistics industry.

Responsibilities

  • Support tender preparation and submission for global customers.
  • Liaise with APAC countries for tender responses.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders for competitive offers.
  • Develop project plans for pricing analysis and internal reviews.
  • Maintain records of tenders.
  • Advise cross-region stakeholders on tender management.
  • Troubleshoot tender-related issues.
  • Participate in related projects as needed.

General Description

This position is responsible for effective handling of tenders from customers and aligning opportunities with the company’s strategic objectives

Key Roles and Responsibilities
  • Work closely with global and/or regional account management team to lead or support the preparation and submission of tenders for global and strategic customers.
  • Analyse tender specifications and liaise with countries mainly in the APAC region for accurate and timely responses.
  • Coordinate with multiple stakeholders including local offices and central procurement teams to ensure high quality and competitive offers.
  • Develop a project plan and for adequate pricing analysis, internal review and evaluation inline with the global tender management process.
  • Maintain record of tenders in internal reports and tender document management system.
  • Leading/involve in meeting with cross region stakeholder to give advice or provide analysis from Tender Management perspective to achieve corporate goal.
  • Trouble shoot any tender related issues and make concerted corrective actions plan to ensure tender management betterment.
  • Other assignments and participation in related projects, as required.
Skills Required
  • Advanced MS-Excel is mandatory
  • Fast‑thinker, Problem solver and strong aptitude for numbers
  • Good interpersonal skills and understanding of cultural diversity
  • Must be fluent in spoken and written English
  • Ability to multitask and perform under pressure
